This week the Aquind decision will be made. Whilst other parties have played politics, Portsmouth Conservatives
have attended consultations, taken part as official registered parties in the Planning Inspectorate process, opposing the scheme, organised and sent petitions via our city MP, Penny Mordaunt, visited the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, met directly with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, held residents meetings, attended protests, written objections and have tried every avenue to voice ours and our residents opposition to the AQUIND Interconnector scheme.
