On September 20th, Ben Swann, Copnor Councillor Robert New visited the public presentation of the new Eastern Corridor Improvements to hear about the £500k improvements.
Ben Swann said "A very interesting evening with Councillor Robert New at the Portsmouth Eastern Corridor Improvement public consultation session held at Anchorage Lodge.
It was great to have an opportunity to discuss in detail with Councillor Simon Bosher, Cabinet Member for Transportation and Traffic this really positive scheme that will make it easier for everyone to travel on the eastern side of the city."
The plans include some great improvements to the main route on the east side of Portsmouth from Drayton down to the seafront. There will be various pieces of work across the east of the city that when combined will improve journeys for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and public transport.
I look forward to seeing these really positive plans develop for the betterment of transport in Portsmouth.
