The new Conservative administration ruling Portsmouth City Council are pleased to announce that the Victorious (now in it's 2nd year) was bigger and better than ever.
The well run event was a huge success. The event organisers are already hoping to run a larger festival in 2015.
"It was a huge success and we're pleased to confirm that there were fewer than 10 complaints from resididents. Portsmouth needs these type of cultural and family friendly events. The high quality of bands, organisation from the Victorious organisers was first class." Said Cllr. Linda Symes of St. Judes ward (and Conservative Culture and Leisure cabinet member).
"Victorious was a huge joy to behold. The atmosphere was electric. Residents had a great time and we attracted large amounts of visitors from outside of the city. The Park and Ride bus service was packed out and all in all we welcome Victorious again in 2015, where it will be even bigger and better." Added Councillor Donna Jones (Conservative Leader of the City Council).
